Diane Avoli is a Michio Kushi certified Senior Macrobiotic Teacher and Counselor with more than 40 years of experience lecturing, advising and living the Macrobiotic way.

She is currently a senior cooking teacher at the Kushi Institute, where she has trained others to become teachers for more than 22 years.

A regular speaker at the Summer Conference, she has taught in several cities around the US, Canada, Australia and the Kushi Institute in the Netherlands.

She has a background in Special Education and raised a macrobiotic family of 8 children and 15 grandchildren.

Macrobiotics is a lifestyle philosophy that balances and harmonizes your life. Since people change over time, macrobiotics has a flexible approach and encourages a diet adjusted to suit every individual.

Healthy Balance and Body Intuition

By avoiding extremes and equalizing what we take in, our bodies are able to remove toxins naturally, recover from illness and operate at their optimum. Every individual is different, and the goal of macrobiotic counseling is to tech people to read and recover their natural intuition to know what to eat, when, and in what amounts.

Macrobiotic Foods

Wonderful foods are the key to health, happiness, and enlightenment. Specifically, a macrobiotic diet consists of whole grains, vegetables and beans supplemented with fruit, fish, nuts and seeds. By eating these centered foods we can restore well-being, increase energy, and learn to live in harmony with nature and ourselves.
